Dr. Melissa Harmon

Dr. Melissa Harmon DDS, MSD, graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2001. Following graduation, she completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Fort Lewis, Washington. She practiced as a general dentist for 4 years before beginning residency training.

In June of 2007, Melissa completed her post-graduate studies at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where she earned her endodontic certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry.
 

Dr. John Harmon

Dr. John Harmon DDS, MS, is a board certified endodontist with over 23 years of clinical experience. He received his DDS degree from Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a 1-year General Practice Residency at Ft. Riley, Kansas, and became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in July 1990. He practiced as a general dentist for twelve years before beginning residency training.

In May 2000, John completed his post-graduate studies at the Medical College of Georgia, where he earned his Master of Science degree in Oral Biology. In June 2000, he completed his endodontic residency program at Fort Gordon, GA. In April 2003, he became a Diplomate (board certified) with the American Board of Endodontics. He is also a Fellow in the College of Diplomates.

In 2007, John retired as a Colonel from the U.S. Army Dental Corps. While on active duty, he was awarded the Surgeon General’s "A" Proficiency Designator for professional excellence, and was also inducted into the Order of Military Medical Merit for significant contributions to the U.S. Army Medical Department.

Vanessa      Alicia       Ashley       Brittany

Ashley is our Front Office Coordinator and has been with us since the practice opened. Ashley’s vast knowledge of dental insurance plans and ability to precisely calculate patient benefits is a great asset to our practice. Her pleasant, polite and bubbly attitude is a bonus.

    

Hi Everyone! I’m Alicia and I was born and raised in Albuquerque. I graduated from the Kaplan Institute in 2007, completed my internship here at Westside Endodontics and was hired full-time (of course). Since I started, I’ve developed an even greater love for dentistry and enjoy my new home.

    

Brittany is a native of San Diego, California, and she moved to New Mexico in 2004 with her family. Brittany completed her dental assisting program in August of 2007, where she graduated from the Pima Medical Institute in Albuquerque with honors.

       

Vanessa is a native of Santa Fe, New Mexico and has been living in Albuquerque for the past nine years. She enjoys working in a practice she finds best puts her dental assisting skills to work. She hopes to continue to learn everything she can about the endodontic field.
