Dr. Melissa Harmon DDS, MSD, graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2001. Following graduation, she completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Fort Lewis, Washington. She practiced as a general dentist for 4 years before beginning residency training.
In June of 2007, Melissa completed her post-graduate studies at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where she earned her endodontic certificate and Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr.
John Harmon, DDS, MS, is a board certified endodontist
with over 27 years of clinical experience. He received
his DDS degree from Medical College of Virginia School
of Dentistry. Following graduation, he completed a 1-year
General Practice Residency at Ft. Riley, Kansas, and
became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry shortly
thereafter.
John completed his post-graduate studies at the Medical
College of Georgia, where he earned his Master of Science
degree in Biology. He completed his endodontic residency
program at Fort Gordon, GA. Following residency training,
he became a Diplomate (board certified) with the American
Board of Endodontics. He is also a Fellow in the College
of Diplomates.
Colonel John Harmon retired from the U.S. Army after
22 years of service. While on active duty, he was awarded
the Surgeon General’s "A" Proficiency
Designator for professional excellence, and was also
inducted into the Order of Military Medical Merit for
significant contributions to the U.S. Army Medical Department

John and Melissa have a young daughter, Brooke. They
enjoy spending time together as a family and traveling.
Hopefully Brooke will keep the practice going
by following in her parent’s footsteps.
